Energy is fundamental to our development. Global energy trends, the prospect of irreversible climate change and the demand for energy security, highlight the need for a rapid transition to an energy system that is low-carbon, sustainable, efficient and environmentally safe.

Biomass – the fourth largest energy source after coal, oil and natural gas - is the largest and most important renewable energy option at present and can be used to produce different forms of energy carriers, thus providing all the energy services required in a modern society, both locally and in most parts of the world.

Renewability and versatility are among other things, important advantages of biomass as an energy source. Compared to other renewable resources, biomass is common and widespread across the globe.

In our common future, biomass proves to be an important element for sustainable development addressing economic, social, environmental and political needs.

BIOMASS AS A RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCE

BIOMASS AS A RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCE

The future of energy is in the development of a sustainable energy infrastructure powered by Palm Biomass. (an abundant renewable energy source ready and available here in Malaysia.) It is now possible for Palm Oil Mills to become “Local-Generation Renewable Energy Platforms” which would immediately reduce electricity consumption costs while increasing energy independence.

HFI BIOMASS SYSTEMS

HFI BIOMASS SYSTEMS

The HFI Biomass System turns Palm Oil Mills into an Integrated Self-Sustaining Entity. Providing power generation and state of the art, practical waste management solutions. Enhancing production output while transforming the profile of the Mills to zero waste

BIOMASS PROFILE: POME

BIOMASS PROFILE: POME

Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) is the resulting waste discharged from the sterilization, crude oil clarification and cracked mixture separation processes. POME produces a huge amount of methane gas from its anaerobic digestion and has 21 times the Global Warming Potential (GWP) compared to other gases. With the HFI Biomass System, POME is converted and utilized as fuel for power generation.

Renewable Energy Profile: WIND

Renewable Energy Profile: WIND

Wind energy became the number-one source of new U.S. electricity-generating capacity for the first time in 2012, providing some 42% of all new generating capacity. 2012 was a strong year for all renewables, as together they accounted for more than 55% of all new U.S. generating capacity Around 80 different countries use wind power to generate electricity commercially (as of 2009)

PALM BIOMASS PELLETS

PALM BIOMASS PELLETS

Palm Biomass pellets are an ecological fuel. It exploits abundantly available palm biomass and converts it into cleaner combustion than is possible with fossil fuels. They are manufactured from 100% palm waste, all of which is sourced from the milling of the Palm Fruit and Oil . This means that the raw material is transported over a relatively short distance, and so has low carbon impact; and also that it is a by-product of Palm Oil production. Full utilization which benefits the environment

FOSSIL FUEL PROFILE

FOSSIL FUEL PROFILE

Fossil fuels are fuels formed by natural processes such as anaerobic decomposition of buried dead organisms. The age of the organisms and their resulting fossil fuels is typically millions of years, and sometimes exceeds 650 million years. It is estimated fossil fuel will last (approximately) - Oil - 40 years , Gas - 60 years, Coal - 200 years. The Energy Information Administration estimates that in 2007 the primary sources of energy consisted of petroleum 36.0%, coal 27.4% & natural gas 23.0%

THE FUTURE IS HERE, NOW

THE FUTURE IS HERE, NOW

We aspire a world for our children and generations to come, helping the world realize a cleaner, simpler, efficient future. We Power Sustainability, committed in making a difference in renewable energy through designing simple, practical, highly efficient solutions for generations to come.

FOSSIL FUEL PROFILE: COAL

FOSSIL FUEL PROFILE: COAL

Worldwide, there is more electricity generated from burning coal than there is using any other energy source. Coal generates approximately half of all the electricity used in the United States. Coal is by far the cheapest source of power fuel per million Btu, averaging less than one third of the price of petroleum and natural gas. Coal emits 29% more carbon per unit of energy than oil, and 80% more carbon than natural gas

PRESERVING OUR LEGACY

PRESERVING OUR LEGACY

Since 2004, We have devoted our energy to passionately advocating waste management and our focus has never wavered. Addressing Palm Biomass as a major issue in preserving an environmental future and converting it into Premium, Highly Efficient Renewable Energy are HFI's directing pillars. Making a difference while preserving our future

SUSTAINABILITY OF BIOGAS?

SUSTAINABILITY OF BIOGAS?

Biogas typically refers to a mixture of different gases produced by the breakdown of organic matter. Biogas can be produced from raw materials such as agricultural waste, manure, municipal waste, plant material, sewage, green waste or food waste. It is produced by anaerobic digestion with anaerobic bacteria. Current POME treatment involves ponding systems in trapping methane gases for power production. This method is not sustainable, as it is not a 1:1 ratio for production and unreliable

SUSTAINABLE RENEWABLE ENERGY

SUSTAINABLE RENEWABLE ENERGY

There is unprecedented interest in renewable energy, particularly solar and wind energy, which provide electricity without giving rise to any carbon dioxide emission. HFI Fusion Fuel is made fully is made fully from 100% Palm Biomass and waste. Clean, secure, reliable, highly efficient and affordable energy. A greener future from a highly abundant sustainable source

FOSSIL FUEL PROFILE

FOSSIL FUEL PROFILE

Fossil fuels are the largest greenhouse gas emitters in the world, contributing 3/4 of all carbon, methane and other greenhouse gas emissions. Burning coal, petroleum and other fossil fuels at extremely high temperatures (combustion) is the primary means by which electricity is produced, but also leads to heavy concentrations of pollutants in our air and water

FUSION FUEL

FUSION FUEL

Fusion Fuel are highly efficient fuel pellets used for power generation. These premium grade fuel pellets are made from Palm Biomass, made possible by the unique processing of HFI Biomass Systems. Fusion Fuel has superior burning efficiency, is ecologically sustainable by carbon emission, ash residue and environmental impact

SUSTAINABILITY NEXUS: ENERGY

ENERGY

Sustainability ensures our common future, here’s how we correspond to it:

“The last critical investment we need to be more competitive is an energy infrastructure that can move us towards energy independence. Its hard to overstate the degree to which our addiction to oil undermines our future.”
