SUSTAINABLE FARMING

Sustainability is an integral part in long-term commercial, government and community's future

Sustainable farming is a whole-systems approach to food, feed, and other fiber production that balances environmental soundness, social equity, and economic viability among all sectors of the public, including international and intergenerational peoples. Inherent in this definition is the idea that sustainability must be extended not only globally, but indefinitely in time, and to all living organisms including humans

The sustainable farming system describes a system which is capable of maintaining the productivity and usefulness to society indefinitely, i.e resource conserving, socially supportive, commercially competitive and environmentally sound
